  • Intel DX79TO

I've just assembled a new machine with an Intel DX79TO mobo, an Intel i7 3820 CPU and a g.skill F3-17000CL9Q-8GBZH memory kit. It has adequate cooling and all temps are fine. It boots and is stable at 1600 but gives a BSOD at 2133 and freezes at 2000. I'm using Intel's Exreme Tuning Utility and it is apparent that the default settings are not compatible for the g.skill memory.

Can you please advise me what settings I should use?

    Thanks for your help

Post pictures of BIOS and memory settings so we know what you can adjust. It will be very difficult to achieve DDR3-2133, if even possible. You may need to try DDR3-1866 and lower the timings.

    Thank you
