model of the motherboard: MSI P45 Neo3 FR
model of the memory: F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ DDR2-1000 PC2-8000
model of the CPU: Core2 Duo Intel E8400 LGA775 3ghz, 6MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB, 45nm
I have had problems with random reboots, and the problem usually involved an error message pointing to the RAM. All of my settings in the BIOS are pretty much all set to Auto. I am concerned that my RAM doesn't have the necessary voltage to make it stable...
On MSI's website My motherboard " Supports four unbuffered DIMM of 1.8 Volt DDR2 667/800/1066* (OC) SDRAM, 16GB Max"
Do I need to change the voltage to 2.0-2.1? If so, how do i change that in the BIOS?
Are there other settings that I need to fix?
Also, when i right click on "my computer" and go to properties...the information reads that I only have 3.00GB of RAM. Should it Read 4.00? I'm running Windows XP with SP3.
Hope you can help me!
thanks in Advance.
