    I got seriously confused with all this talk about requirements to flash the drive correctly. It really freaked me out.

    Turns out I put the jumper on, I just plugged it into a free SATA port. ran the program as admin in xp sp3 compatability mode and that was it. done.

    I did this on windows 7 x64 RC1

    Now the real test comes....I am going to be installing this on my Unibody early 2009 Macbook Pro.

    I am crossing my fingers for nothing terrible as far as freezing, data loss and so on.

    Wish me luck and I will be glad to help anyone if they have questions on the firmware upgrade, I thought the PDF gskill put together was pretty solid.

    I think these macpros only has SATA I, which means you wont get any read / write speeds over 150Mbps

      they released a firmware update that fixes that.

      I actually have an early 2009 model and so it already was working fine

      I hope no lockups/freezes and such that I have read about
